Why choose Dermapen?
Microneedling uses multiple needles to vertically pierce the skin. This allows for millions of fine channels to be created in the skin. These channels can carry up to 80% more topical penetration, allowing for transdermal delivery of these nutrients deeper into the skin to feed cells found in the dermis and basal layer of the dermis. These micro-channels close within minutes accelerating a regenerating effect. The skin appears dramatically rejuvenated, refreshed and smoother.

"After losing weight with lapband I was left with hanging skin. I had spent years changing my lifestyle . I had to find a plastic surgeon that was equally invested in ME! I spent years researching both my procedure and Dr. Jansen. I am so thankful I choose him! I am 2 months post op, and my body is amazing. He literally broke me out of my shell. The time, craft and consideration he has given me is wonderful. His staff has also taken their time. From my intail consult I was informed how insurance is processed. The secretary was very informative and kind explaining the restriction the office has when it comes to dealing with insurance . I can't thank Dr. Jansen or his staff for doing such a wonderful job !"- B.M. / Vitals / Apr 03, 2015

How long before I see results?
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 4 to 6 treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart). The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.
Is the treatment painful?
For minimal needle depths, Dermapen treatments are relatively painless. Treatments using depths over 0.5mm may require a topical anesthetic cream to be applied for 15-40 minutes before the procedure. This will render the treatment virtually pain-free.
Plan Your Procedure
Is there any downtime?
Generally no, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. Application of a breathable camouflage will seal the skin and cover any redness for an immediate return to work.
