This 48 year old woman underwent a right mastectomy with placement of a tissue expander so she could begin chemotherapy and radiation therapy to the right breast. At this time we also did a breast augmentation and mastopexy of the left side. After she completed her chemotherapy and radiation therapy we had to wait 6 months to allow the effects of radiation to resolve. The patient wanted to be much larger, so we used both sides of the abdomen to perform a "stacked" DIEP flap. This gave her a very nice and shapely result. She has been happy with her breast shape and size for the last 5 years.

This patient underwent a right stacked DIEP flap breast reconstruction and a left augmentation mastopexy. She wanted much larger breasts, if at all possible. We used both sides of her abdomen to create a larger size breast. The left side needed a 360 cc moderate plus mentor silicone gel implant and a breast lift. More
