Gender Affirmation Top Surgery

This 24 year old transgender male has been living as a male for 2 years. He has followed all the WPATH criteria and has received psychiatric clearance for the beginning stages of gender affirmation surgery. We discussed the multiple options for top surgery and decided on the free nipple graft with the single scar along the infra-mammary fold. The patient was a smoker and was required to abstain from nicotine use at least 30 days prior to surgery. The scar will continue to fade with time. He is very happy with his result.
